I used to LOVE getting a beauty subscription box every month and haven't had one for a good couple of years. This was the one thing I enjoyed getting a month especially for those months when I couldn't afford to be buying myself new products.
I stumbled across Dollibox on Instagram a couple of months ago and decided to take the plunge and subscribe. What is Dollibox??
Well, it's a monthly subscription box for £10 plus £3.90 p&p.
You can either get a 3, 6 or 12 month subscription or one-off boxes. The
content of the boxes are a surprise. Dollibox uses your beauty profile
to send you products most suited to you so it's important to complete
the beauty profile quiz.
A monthly subscription costs £10 per month (plus P&P). This is a rolling subscription, but you can cancel anytime.
A 6 month subscription consists of a one-off payment of £54 (plus P&P), which is £9 per box.
A 12 month subscription consists of a one-off payment of £102 (plus P&P), which is £8.50 per box.
Every month you will receive 5/6 items with 2/3 being full size which
is great value for money. However, January’s box saw all 5 items in the
box to be FULL SIZE!!!! This makes it even more value for
money.
My Box Included the following:
The Vintage Company Shower Cap - This is such a pretty floral design in soft satin. It has polka dot waterproof lining and a soft elasticated opening. I was pleased to see this inside the box as I've been after a shower a good shower cap for months now. It's looks really comfy and so feminine, I can't wait to try this out. It retails at £7.50
Tonymoly I'm Real Skin Care Facial Mask - This is a new brand for me and I've never tried a sheet mask before. The one inside my box was the Avocado Nutrition mask. It's one of South Korea's cutest exports. The innovative sheet-style mask is soaked with the treatment serum, I have no idea what I'm expecting with this but I will be giving this a try tonight. This retails at £6.
MUA Eyeshadow in Onyx - I absolutely love MUA products. It's a budget brand and I've tried quite a few of their products. I received a single eyeshadow in the shade Onyx which is a shimmery black shade, and who doesn't love a good black as a smokey eye look?? The eyeshadow is really pigmented and I already know what eye look I'm going to use this for.
This retails at £1.
Osmo Blinding Shine Illuminating Mask - Another brand I've never heard of and a hair product. I'm really getting into hair products at the moment, so really excited to give this one a try. This is an intensive conditioning mask for smooth, shiny and frizz-free results. The smell is actually quite pleasant and I'm hoping this will help my damaged split ends. This retails at £2.99
Skintruth Cuticle Oil - Another new brand for me to try and I just LOVE a good hand product. I always use hand creams and cuticle oils so really excited to giving this a try. This is a professional nail care treatment that is specially formulated to nourish and repair damaged cuticles. It's a vitamin rich oil that also encourages the growth of strong healthy nails. This is something I always look out for. It can be used on polished and unpolished nails. I do suffer from dry hands and more so in the colder months so I know I'll be using this quite a bit. This retails at £6.19
Overall I'm very happy with the contents of my first Dollibox and I can't wait to try these out and do a full review of each product for you. I'm really excited for next months box.
Thanks for reading. Have you tried any of these products? What did you think??
Lots of Love
