It's the start of another week and I've got another yummy food post for you today. As you know I'm really getting into a good healthy lifestyle and trying to give myself that kick up the arse to stop snacking on the wrong stuff like crisps, chocolate and sweets.
I've seen Graze around for years and decided to try it out for myself. For me this seems like the ideal solution to my snacking habit. For those that follow Slimming World I know these are all synned. So I took the plunge and ordered my first box.
It arrived safely to my door on a cold Friday morning! I couldn't wait to see what was inside waiting for me to try! I chose the variety box, to be delivered every fortnight.
As always the first thing I like to have a look at is the information leaflet that has all the nutritional values to each Graze punnet. Always good to know especially when your watching what you eat!
The full ingredients for each punnet can be found online and a link is
given for you to check them out if you wish, also given, were the use by
dates which are handy if you don’t want to eat them straight away.
Using
the website you rate what you 'bin, try, like & love' and based on
these they will build you a random selection! The only things I put in
the 'bin' was anything with Olives, I just don't like them. Everything
else I wanted to 'try'. There's a delicious recipe on the front and of course some vouchers for friends.
The punnets have a plastic covering over them which is easy to take off and also has the name of each snack and what's inside. I also like the fact that it says if the snack is full of fibre, low in calories, is a light snack, or full of protein and even how many portions of your 5 A Day!
In my box I received carrot cake with an afternoon infusion, protein peanut butter dipper with baked hemp sticks, Thai tom yum soup and marvellous macaron. As you can see with the Variety box you get a nice mix of snacks. The punnets aren't massive in size but the portions are just perfect to whet that snacking appetite.
How tasty do all of these look? I'm really intrigued by the Thai Tom Yum Soup and I can't wait to try them all and I will be giving you a full review of each of these snacks. I'm really impressed with what I received. I really hope these help me with my snacking habit.
Keep an eye out for my full review this week.
Are you a Grazer?? What's your favourite snack??
Lots of Love
