Good Morning!!
I can't believe this is the last Sample Sunday of this month, where has the time gone?? A slightly different one for you this week. It's not a beauty product it's an organic tea.
As you all know I've decided to drastically change my lifestyle by making it much more organic and natural. I actually got this sample in a magazine and just popped it into my sample box and quite frankly forgot about it. I spotted it this week and just had to try it.
The tea is by the brand Pukka which I have seen in many shops and I've been dying to try some but I wasn't going to justify paying a few pence more than my usual fruity teas. So I thought I'd look more into the brand and see what they're all about.
They are an organic brand and are Soil Association certified. All of the ingredients are 100% organic and natural, they are also caffeine free. My sample is the Ginseng Matcha Green tea, from the Green tea range which does have caffeine in. Pukka's website is full of so much information and wow, there's so many amazing different flavours of tea too!
What Pukka Say: A tea to bring a spring-filled step to your day and
colour to your life. The organic whole leaf Sencha green tea with the
zip of lemongrass, ginger and pure red ginseng. Lift yourself up and
away with the magic of lemon tulsi and the power of organic pure emerald
matcha powder. Up, up and away to the greenest of days.
Pukka’s matcha is grown on an organic farm on a beautiful volcanic
island off the coast of South Korea. The island is called Jeju Do, thus
the Korean name for our matcha, Jejo do Garucha, which literally
translates as ‘Jeju Island Powder Tea’.
I have to say I was just expecting this to taste like your regular green tea but I was actually pleasantly surprised by the taste, it definitely had more flavour to it than the green teas I've been drinking, the smell is amazing.
It says to infuse the tea for 15 minutes which is longer than my usual teas but man, oh man is it worth it, the combination of the herbs is just lovely. I really like the fact that the tea bag is not bleached white like a lot of brands, and there's 1 stitch holding it all together. As soon as you open the wrapper the smell just hits you.
I really enjoyed trying this and I can't wait to try more flavours, I can honestly say I don't think I'll be going back to any of my other brands of tea. It'll be Pukka all the way for me and I really like that you can get your hands on them pretty much anywhere. If you haven't checked out the website you have too, there's so many flavours.
Holland & Barrett also do some great offers. A full sized box retails at about £2.45-£2.50 (depends where you buy them from), you get 20 tea bags in a box and I think it's worth it.
Are you a Pukka fan?? What's your favourite flavours??
Lots of Love
