Review | Ecover Washing Up Liquid

Good Morning!!

A completely different post for you today, as you all know I'm on the quest to become much more greener and organic. I've been looking for greener and more natural alternatives to my everyday products and not just my beauty products but my household products too.

I've seen Ecover around and I may have tried their washing up liquid in the past, when it was on offer but I always went back to Fairy. Now, I recently discovered that the foaming agent in most washing up liquids is just a chemical added to give that clean feeling whilst washing up, so that doesn't always mean it's doing it's job, it's also really quite drying on the hands. So in other words, the bubbles aren't actually an indicator of cleaning performance and has no impact on how well that product works!!

I saw Ecover's washing up liquid again on offer in my local Morrison's for £1 so I took the plunge and snapped up a couple of bottles to give it a fair chance. Wow, where has this product been all my life?? I bought the Lemon & Aloe Vera because to me nothing says clean than a good citrus lemony smell!

Ecover don't use that bubbling chemical and as you can see you still get some good bubbles. It cleans and cuts though grease just as well as my old Fairy washing up liquid. I love the scent of this, it's so fresh and clean. Ecover don't use that bubbling chemical and you can see you still get some good bubbles.

It really does keep hands feeling soft, it's not harsh on the skin and they don't feel too dry afterwards. This even cleans the stubborn baked on food from my oven dishes.

Ecover uses plants and minerals and prefers to use ingredients that have naturally occurring cleaning properties rather than chemicals – such as sugar and coconut oil, they're also cruelty-free. The great thing is the cost, it's slightly cheaper, if not the same price as some of the top leading brands of washing up liquid.

They also have a variety of other household products I'd love to try. I definitely recommend this and I've stocked up.

Have you tried out Ecover products?? What did you think??

Lots of Love
