Wow, where the heck has October gone?? I've hardly gotten any posts out that I wanted, so I will have to work extra hard during November and I'll get back into posting every other day on a regular basis.
I've got another beauty box to share with you today, it's my October Beauty 12 Box, The Liz. I'm really loving this box too as there's always something I'm looking for or a new brand waiting for me to discover.
What is Beauty 12?? Well, it's a monthly cruelty free and vegan beauty box. You can buy a subscription each month £15, 3 monthly £42, 6 monthly £80 or 12 monthly £155, of course you save money if you go for the 3, 6 and 12 monthly subscriptions.
Instead of a monthly theme each box will be named after someone (human or animal) close to the 2 ladies that have started up this fantastic subscription box.
Each month the boxes will be over the value of £30 which is great for the price and you will receive 5 products each month which will range from skincare, makeup and haircare. Fantastic value if you ask me.
Let's take a peek at what's inside The Liz box shall we?? The first thing you will see is the little information card with all the box contents and of course letting us know the product of the month.
I received 5 great products inside The Liz, they're all full sized products! There's only 1 brand that I've heard of and tried a product before and the rest are completely new, which is a bonus.
Cougar - Professional Brow Kit
The first of my full sized products and a product I've been looking for! Really excited to see this in this months box. I've really struggled with trying to find a brow kit and this has everything in it. Can't wait to give it a try. A new brand to me, I'm not sure if the colours are going to be too dark for my eyebrows but I'll give them a go and see what happens. They're mineral powders so hopefully I can achieve a nice natural looking brow.
Give Face Cosmetics - Matte Finishing Powder
The second of the full sized products and this months product of the month. A new brand and what looks like a fab product. I've never really used a finishing powder when i do my makeup and I think that could be why on some of my nights out I've ended up with cakey or even foundation that has been absorbed into the skin, which then cause my breakouts. Looking forward to giving this a try and the brand Give Face is only a year old, I'm looking forward to seeing what else they have.
Ravenscourt Apothecary Co. - Calming Salve With Chamomile
Another full sized product and a new brand. This looks like the ideal multi-tasking product for hands, knees, cuticles and elbows. I can't wait to give this a try. You could probably use this on your lips too. I know my knees and elbows would love this.
Wild Sprout - Mint Lip Balm
Now, the colder months are setting in who doesn't need another lip balm?? I can't live without these and will go through at least 2 a month over the cold months. This is a new brand and I can't wait to give this a try. I love a good mint lip balm so can't wait to try this.
Medusa's Makeup - Witch Lash Mascara in Black Noir
Really happy to see another Medusa's Makeup product in this months box. I absolutely loved their lashes (I reviewed them here) and I have their Cosmic highlighter which is amazing so really excited to give this a try and see what it's all about. You can never have too many mascaras, I can't wait to see what it does to my lashes and look at how cute the packaging is.
Overall I'm happy with the contents of the box and really excited to try them all out. The value is £53 which is fantastic and I will do reviews when I've had chance to try them all out.
