As much as I love to think I get to enjoy a bath in peace I need to face reality and realise that I really don't. I love my bath products and will always try to have some me time but when you've a 5 year old that loves a bath equally as much especially when bath products are concerned all peace goes out of the window!
I received today's product in my September The Elaine Beauty 12 box. You can see my first impression and the contents here.
Soap Dodger is a completely new brand to me so when I saw these in The Elaine I was pleased and intrigued. I mean, bubbling bath salts?? I received Wine Down from the Boozy Bath Salts range.
As soon as you open the lid wow, that scent really hits you and it's an absolutely gorgeous scent. It reminds me of bubblegum and grapes. I wasn't really sure how they would work in the bath. Will be like bubble bath or a bath bomb??
This one is Cabernet Sauvignon. So the actual scent of this is sweet grapes with hints of strawberry, plum, jasmine and pear on a wine and musky background. I really can't get enough of this and the munchkin agrees he loves the smell.
So how does it work?? Well, run yourself a bath and while the water is running add as little or as much of the product as you want. Our first bath we put in quite a bit, it does say you can get 3-4 baths out of it but we've manged 5 I think it was. I have to admit it was a bit like bubble bath and a bath bomb in one.
It's a 200g tub and for £4 you can't go wrong. I will buy this again for sure. Look, it even turned our bath purple. I wasn't really expecting much bubbles but I was surprised by how much you actually get. It's got Epsom Salt and Sea Salt inside so your skin will love you.
This range comes in 5 different scents; Wine Down, Gin Swill, Take It Sloe, Mojito Mama and Schnapps Out Of It. This is definitely a range that anyone would love and the fab thing is you can get all 5 for £18 here.
After getting out myself and the munchkin agreed that our skin felt really soft and smooth and we felt really relaxed and ready to chill out in bed. With Christmas coming up, who wouldn't LOVE a little set of bubbling bath salts?? I know who I'll be getting these for.
