I can honestly say I've recently only discovered Quinoa and I love it in brown rice. So when I saw these samples of Green People Quinoa and Artichoke shampoo and conditioner inside the box with my catalogue I was so intrigued. I used to eat a lot of artichoke when I lived in Greece and it's absolutely delicious but in shampoo and conditioner?? Well, yeah why not??!!
So why will your hair benefit from Quinoa and Artichoke? Well, Quinoa is packed with 8 amino acids that make hair feel thicker and much more manageable. It's also full of protein to nourish hair and make it sleek and soft.
Artichoke helps to make the hair frizz free, there's antioxidants that protect and repair damage from UV radiation. Both products are safe for daily use. I'm one of those people that will try and go 2-3 days without washing as it's quite oily so I don't like to over stimulate my natural oils.
Firstly I'd like to say how delicious the scent of these were, I wasn't sure what to expect but I really like it, it's a little bit spicy. The shampoo is a little difficult to work through your hair especially if you've never used a shampoo without all those nasty ingredients that help the product lather up. It does lather but it does take a little more work (that's all down to the yucca extract rather than the SLS and other harsh foaming agents). Massage it into your scalp and hair then rinse it well.
If you use a lot of products and your hair feels weighed down then I'd recommend you shampoo your hair twice.
The conditioner is much easier to work with, I always leave my conditioners in for a good couple of minutes making sure I concentrate on the ends then rinse it well.
My hair felt so soft and manageable and it looks so shiny. I'm absolutely gutted I only had these sample sachets but I think I will definitely treat myself to the full sized range of these.
You can buy both the shampoo and conditioner from Green People at £14.95 for 200ml tubes which is great value for getting that soft, manageable and shiny hair everyone wants! I can see these lasting a long time as I think a little really will go a long way with these.
Have you tried these?? What's your favourite Green People hair care range??
