Tuesday's Tip | Using Villiers Floral Facial Steam Leftover Water

I'm really starting to get into using products that have no waste leftover, especially if you can use them as multi-tasking products.

I'm finally bring you a Tuesday's Tip post this week, if you saw my review of this gorgeous Villiers Facial Steam back in June then you'll know I said I'd bring you a tip so that you are using the leftover water from the steam. You can find the post here if you missed my review.

Since it's been really hot the past few weeks I've actually made myself a really nice floral water facial spritz. I used the leftover water from my facial steam and oh my gosh it's worked a treat.

First off use a sieve and pop all the contents from your bowl you used for your facial steam and over a jug let the water strain out. You will be surprised at how much is left over. You can put the used flowers in a Compost Bin if you have one in your garden or simply pop them into your garden waste bin.

You can use some of this in a nice warm bath, it's so relaxing and the scent from it is really nice, you can also use it for your powdered face masks too.

I popped mine into a little spritz bottle and used it as a toner in the mornings and also throughout the day to give my skin a little extra hydration, the scent is lovely and is so relaxing. My face has really enjoyed this and it just goes to show nothing goes to waste.

During this hot weather it's felt so cooling, I kept mine in the fridge to keep it nice and cold and refreshing. I really want to see how else I can use my leftover steam water.

How have you used your steam water??

Lots of Love
