Blogger Recognition Award

I was nominated for this back in October but completely forgot about it, My baby brain is horrendous at the minute but I finally remembered and I'm getting this out now.

How my blog came to be

I'd actually had a couple of blogs over the years and even though I absolutely love writing they just didn't feel like me over a period of time and the niche just wasn't me and I grew tired and stop writing because my posts felt forced as the passion had gone. But then February last year I felt like I was missing something and so started this blog again and I have to admit, I think I've finally found my passion again. My posts no longer feel like a chore and I write about things I'm really passionate about and I finally feel like this is me.

Advice for new bloggers

1. Write about what you love and for you, without putting any pressure on yourself. If you don't feel like writing, then don't. It's better to write about things you love as your readers will pick up on that and will enjoy your content compared to forcing yourself to write and the post lack any passion. If you need to take a break do it. Blogging should be fun and something you enjoy not a chore. 

2. Get your blog out there, create a Twitter, Facebook and Instagram for your blog, use certain hashtags to find other like minded bloggers. Don't be afraid to comment on others posts and do some Retweeting. We all should support one and other and believe me, you find some wonderful people out there to connect with. There's nothing better than watching other people grow and numbers really aren't that important so stop looking at them, they don't define you as a blogger, your content does.
