Well, I've finally started buying for this baby boy of mine. I've had a lot of these lovely items bought for me.
I still don't feel prepared for this babies arrival and it scares the hell out of me. I'm feeling unorganised and unsure about what else I need. I think I'll start to relax as soon as the munchkin's and babies bedroom is all sorted and I can start to organise things.
I've managed to buy a few things so far, and this time around I'm opting for products that are much more Eco friendly and of course that will save me some money.
My brother bought these for me as a birthday present back in September and I absolutely love these. They're so cute and the little set has clouds all over which is just so cute. He also bought the Rhino Teddy with a blanket which will go in his cot.
I picked myself up some Kit & Kin nappies that are biodegradable. So even though I want to try out cloth nappies I thought these would be good to have if I'm out and about for the day, and as a bit of a backup plan if we don't get on with cloth nappies.
I've also bought myself some Cheeky Wipes, I thought these would be great as they are reusable and would go well with keeping costs down. It looks such a fab and easy way to keep bums clean especially as they have a little travel pouches, one for clean wipes and one for dirty wipes while you're out and about. I can't wait to give them a try and I bought the Bamboo wipes too.
I also picked up this box of Aqua Wipes which are also biodegradable to have in my change bag just in case. These are the handy travel packs so there's 12 packs in the box which I got for about £10. Which is not only great value but they are definite;y much more Eco friendly. I'm hoping to get my hands on some biodegradable nappy bags too for when I'm out and about.
I'm hoping to get my cloth nappies bought at the end of this month along with a change mat, and a few other bits and bobs I'm going to need.
I've also been looking into brands of washing powders for cloth nappies and wondering if any of you lovely green mummies have any suggestions on what to go for??
It's not a great deal but it's a start, I have no pushchair or car seat yet either. I've never felt so un-prepared in my life, I know it will start coming together though over the coming weeks.
Thanks for reading.
Lots of Love
