Even though Winter is still lingering about Spring is just around the corner, ready and waiting, but that doesn't mean we can't get ourselves fit and toned ready for the Summer.
You all know I'll be the first to admit it but since having Mason 4 years ago (Yikes!!) I
have let my health slip a little and I really don't exercise much
anymore and it really gets me down because I've never been this
unhealthy before.
I've seen a variety of 30 Day Fitness Challenges floating about the blogosphere
for a while and decided that this would be a fun and great way for me
to get back to my fit toned self during this time of year. Especially since I don't want to join the gym just yet, I want to see if I can do this at home without giving up halfway through like I've done on several occasions.
I decided to download a 30 day fitness app (I bought the pro version for £5.99) on my iphone and set reminders so I have no excuse not to do my daily exercises. It also records your progress and has a variety of fitness levels. I've started on the beginner levels and chosen to do the 30 day Squat Challenge & 30 day Ab Challenge.
Of course this wouldn't be a blog post without photos, so I want to share with you all my Bum & Tum before I started this.
I
know most people will think that there's nothing wrong with my booty,
but it does need toning just a little, along with my mummy tummy too. I want to strengthen my muscles for pregnancy because having Mason via an emergency C-Section left them weak and numb.
I'm
not expecting these exercises to work miracles overnight but it's the first step
to me keeping up with some kind of routine, if I can do these for 30 days then I will find a few more
exercises I can add each month. I will of course keep you all
posted.
Lots of Love
