Today I'm bringing you a review of a fantastic hair product that I've recently been using. It's the first time I've used a Toni & Guy product and the one I'm reviewing is the Party ready Volume Lotion.
I actually really enjoyed using this product. My first thoughts upon seeing the product was 'is there really 236ml of product in this tiny bottle?' We all know how looks can be deceiving. My hair is quite fine, flat and dull so I was a bit unsure if this would do anything for my hair as I've tried so many other 'volume boosting' products before and they just haven't worked.
After washing my hair I worked in 1 pump (my hair isn't that long) from root to tip and blow dried my hair before straightening it. I'm in LOVE!! This really gives hair that party ready look and the shine wow, my hair hasn't looked this good or healthy in a while. If you use too much of the product it does leave hair feeling greasy and sticky so it's trying to find the amount that works for your hair. I will definitely repurchase this.
This really is one of those products that does what it says on the tin. I didn't need to do the usual backcombing of my hair to get that volume. The product looks quite milky and watery but it's easy to apply and it has a really pleasant fragrance that I still haven't quite put my finger on.
I haven't tried any Toni & Guy products before and I'll be looking forward to trying more out in the future. You can find this in your local Boots or Superdrug for £7.49
