Good Morning Beauties!!
I've got a review for you today, it's two fantastic products that I've been using quite a lot lately even though I bought them back in April.
I will be reviewing Green People Special Edition Matte Lipstick and Lip Primer. If you missed my haul post you can read it here.
Green People is one of my favourite brands to buy from as they have so many amazing products and I love that they're ethical and cruelty free. They released this lipstick as a special edition for their 20th anniversary and if you pre-ordered it they gave you the lip primer for FREE, which was amazing value for £15.
The shade is Damask Rose and it's a gorgeous nude-rose shade that compliments all skin tones. It's a non drying matte shade, I found my lips still held moisture and felt soft whilst wearing it. I wasn't really sure about natural lipsticks at first and was a little bit unsure because I didn't think you'd get the pigment but I'm so glad I bought this as it's highly pigmented from natural Earth minerals.
The lipstick is enriched with Vitamin E to keep lips nourished, there's also sustainable Beeswax and organic Carnauba wax so unfortunately it's not Vegan. I will definitely be buying more lipsticks from Green People. They're fantastic and a good price. You pay the same for a high end lipstick that is full of nasties, so for me it's a no brainer, I'll always choose more ethical products.
Pair this gorgeous lipstick with the lip primer and it gives you long lasting wear and a more sheer, dewy finish.
The Primer itself is fantastic, you can use it on it's own as a natural lip balm but I use this underneath my lipstick. It locks in hydration, the colourless base enhances the natural hues of your lipstick. It has Beeswax and Carnauba wax in it too which prevent fading or bleeding.
I absolutely love both of these products and they featured in my lip care products post, if you missed it you can read it here.
You can get your hands on the lipstick for £15 and the primer for £13 on the Green People website.
Have you tried these lip products?? What did you think of the lipstick or primer??
Lots of Love
