Good Morning Beauties!!
I've got a Sample Sunday post for you today and it's the second product review from my June Mad Hatters Tea Party themed The Natural Beauty Box.
The product today is the White Rabbit Comfort Cleansing Balm. I was really excited to give this a try as I've never used a Cleansing Balm before so wasn't sure how it would work. I'd heard of the brand before but this is the first time I've used any of their products.
White Rabbit Skincare is a luxury vegan Skincare company based in Scotland. I absolutely love supporting small businesses in the UK. White Rabbit have a fab range of products that I'll have to definitely add onto my ever growing wish list.
I have to admit it took me a few tries to find a way to apply the Cleansing Balm that worked for me. It's quite a nice texture but it felt really strange when applying it. I absolutely adored the scent and it made me feel relaxed after using it. It does feel quite thick but maybe it's because I'm not used to it.
You only need to use a 10p size amount of the Balm and rub it into your finger tips to warm it up a little before applying, apply it all over your dry face and use a muslin or cotton cloth to wipe away with hand hot water. I was expecting to be left with a bit of greasy residue but I was quite surprised that my face felt quite soft afterwards. You can feel a difference after a few uses.
I only really used this on days I didn't wear much makeup or in the mornings. I wouldn't use this after a night out though, you could if you wanted too but you'd have to do a double cleanse and I'm not too sure if that would leave a bit of a residue behind.
It's packed full of goodness like Olive oil, Castor Oil, Eucalyptus, Shea Butter and Lavender that all benefit your skin. After you've rinsed all the balm off you can use your regular toner and moisturiser to finish off.
You can buy a full sized 100ml tin for £15 which is fantastic especially as it comes with it's own flannel that also helps to exfoliate the skin. I would give this another go definitely, I don't want to completely write off balms. Just because we're having a bit of a shaky start getting to know one and other doesn't mean we won't end up in a loving relationship in the end.
Have you tried this out?? What do you think of Cleansing Balms??
Lots of Love
