Lifestyle | Autumn Ruin Gig in Manchester

Good Morning Beauties!!

I finally managed to go out with my best mate to a gig in Manchester, I've been waiting a couple of months for this so was really excited.

The band I actually went to see was Autumn Ruin and they're amazing! If you love a bit of rock/alternative then you should definitely check these guys out.

I've been a fan of these guys for years and was there when they used to be more screamo. Yes, Rob I remember those days! I've enjoyed watching them evolve over the years and always try and make a few of their gigs each year!

As always their set list is good with all the songs we know and love. A couple of my faves have to be Brave The Fall, One, Two, Three and Forgive & Forget.

Friday's gig was their last with this line up as Sir Robert Lafferty is leaving, which is so sad, you will be missed. Can't wait to see who will be joining. As always the supporting bands are equally as good.

The lads themselves are a great bunch and so easy to talk too, I managed to bring along my bestie Amy who had never heard of these lot until last year when she accompanied me to 2 of their gigs. She'd never been before and I know she secretly enjoys it! You can meet some great people and I've definitely made a few friends.
I absolutely love the vocals of lead singer Alastair, he's got a good set of pipes on him, damn can he make some noise! Unfortunately this time we didn't get any pics with the band, but there's always next time!

If you want to buy their EP We Make Our Own Damn Luck, it's available on ITunes to buy now.

I shall leave you with one of their videos so you can have a listen and go check them out.
