Review | Facetox Organic Face Mask

Good Morning Beauties!!

Today I've got a review for you, I've been meaning to review this product for ages now but just kept on forgetting but I've finally sat and wrote my review.

I'm reviewing the Facetox extract, pull and detoxify face mask. I bought this from Holland and Barrett a couple of months back and this is actually the second time I've bought  it.

I wasn't really sure about it at first but after a couple is uses I did start to notice a difference in my skin. Facetox is a Cruelty Free brand and the contents are 100% natural. I bought the 7 masks. Keep reading for a step by step guide.

Step 1 - I began by taking the products out of the box, inside were 7 of each pouch; a mixed facetox blend and an organic rose water. You also get a plastic bowl and mixing spoon, you use these to mix the ask together. You do get a lot of product inside the pouches.

Step 2 - I emptied the first pouch into the bowl which is the clay but be careful you don't get it everywhere while you empty it out. It's really like a really fine dust.

Step 3 - Next I added the Rosewater, it has a really nice scent to it and is much easier to add into the bowl. This is the first Mask I've tried that not only a clay mask but uses Rosewater to mix it with.

Step 4 - I mixed both the Rosewater and the clay together and it turns into a really thick consistency. It's really easy to mix with the bowl and spoon and the Rosewater is absorbed quite quickly, so you have to be quick and get your serious mix on. Can you see how much product you get??

Step 5 - The best part - Now to apply the mask, even though it was quite thick I found it really easy to apply and smooth out using the mixing spoon. It did take me a couple of tries to get a nice smooth layer.

Step 6 - You then leave it on for up to 30 minutes, you'll feel it getting to work in your skin. It isn't an unpleasant feeling it's a tingling sensation and you can feel it tightening your skin. As soon as the clay is dry you will see it beginning to crack.

Step 7 - Time for the removal of the mask. You can peel off parts of it but I always make sure I use warm water and a muslin cloth to remove it as it's much easier. You can really see how much extracting it's done as you take it off. It does leave your face slightly red afterwards but that's normal and it does go down. Make sure you use your usual moisturiser afterwards to keep your skin hydrated as it does dry out a little from the face mask.

Overall I really enjoyed using this mask and I put the rest of the bowl in the fridge to use up another day. My skin always feels so much cleaner and fresh afterwards.

You should give it a go, I'm trying to convince the OH to let me put it on him as I know his skin would definitely benefit from it.

Have you tried it? What did you think??

Lots of Love
