I've tried a few BB Creams in the past and I've never really understood the idea around them, they're not foundation yet their not quite tinted moisturisers. I didn't buy into the whole BB Cream phenomenon, it didn't do much to my skin and I would sooner use full coverage foundation.
However, I wasn't so sure about this little guy when I saw it in my July Love Lula Beauty Box. My skin has been looking it's best it has in so many years and I very rarely wear makeup these days. But you know me, I'm a sucker for a sample and will give anything a go.
I actually really liked this, it went on so smoothly dried really nicely and it doesn't feel like you have anything on your skin. It has colour adaptive technology so it will adjust to a whole range of skin tones which is fantastic. There's SPF 13 in it too which is a must!
It really does leave your skin looking flawless, even toned and luminous with a non-oily, satin finish. I take back everything I originally thought about BB Creams back! I've even used this underneath my foundation when we headed out last weekend for my birthday! It's silicone free so for me it's the perfect primer. My makeup stayed put all day, I didn't have to touch up anything it still looked great (even if I didn't, Haha).
This lush multi function cream really does provide a nice flawless coverage that banishes those pesky imperfections. It has SPF and anti-oxidant protection while photo-rejuvenation technology offers a toning, firming, anti-ageing effect.
I will definitely buy the full sized tube of this. It's a bit on the pricey side of £29 for a 50ml tube, but a little really does go a long way. You can get your hands on it from Love Lula. I found that instead of rubbing it into your skin, tapping it on worked better for me. I found myself using this most days to keep my makeup looking natural.
