I wanted to share this post waaaaaay back in January but I had the worst month ever and I just haven't had the chance to and since Winter doesn't seem to be easing up anytime soon I thought I'd share it this week. I've been making full use of the snow we've been having lately as well.
I wanted to share with you some of the products that have been my saviours during this winter and all this cold weather. I do try and keep my skin hydrated and in tip top condition, as well as my hair because it goes through so much. From being out in the cold, to being inside with heating, then there's the fans in work and the air con.
My skin and hair don't have a clue what's happening and I tend to get a few more breakouts than usual.
Firstly, it's important to have some great facial oils. I have a pretty decent collection going and i do find myself reaching for a couple of different ones. I love the Buddha Beauty and the Balm Balm ones in the morning after I've had a cleanse, I also take one in my bag to work to just add on a little throughout the day to stop my skin from drying out especially since I don't wear a lot of makeup. I like to try and take a little mini pack of skincare just to freshen my face throughout the day or even by using some fab cleansing wipes. For night time after my evening cleanse I just can't get enough of this wonderful Siskyn Skincare Night Facial Oil I received way back in my August The Natural Beauty Box! My face feels amazing in the morning after using this and I can't believe it's taken my so long to even try it.

Next up and one product I can't live without no matter the weather is a selection of hand creams. During the winter though, my hands get really dry, cracked and sore because of being in and out of water plus the stress at work and the different environments they go through I need all the help I can get to keep them soft and smooth. So I like to make sure I have some in my work bag, to apply throughout the day. At home in the evening I have a couple of hand creams I use but before bed a couple of times a week, I like to really give my hands an intense treatment so I use this fantastic Argan Oil from Tose Apothecary and then pop on my cotton gloves and it really works wonders on your hands. This can also be used on your hair or your body.

I've been reaching for this lovely Myroo Superfood Balm to try and tame my scaly legs. This has been such a life saver and I use this more during the day to add a little bit more moisture to my arms and legs. I've been using just my body lotion/butter of choice (whichever is open) then applying this when I feel like my skin is starting to feel dry again. I will be repurchasing this as it's a fab little product and smells amazing.
For my hair I've been reaching for both of these amazing hair oils. I did a full review on the Forest and Shore one here. These are both fab hair oils and I pop a little on the ends of my hair during the day just to keep it from drying out. I do an intensive treatment once a week where I use them as a bit of a hair mask. If I've washed my hair then I like to apply some just through the middle and ends just to make sure that my hair isn't getting too damaged because if you're like me you forget just how important it is to have healthy hair.

And lastly, I can't live with without my lip balms. I have about 4 on the go at any given time, they're all over my house, in my bags and my coat pockets. I'm the lip balm queen. These are the ones I've been loving lately and I have to admit I've repurchased a few times from Fruu and Bloomtown. This was my first time trying The Wild Sprout and Myroo lip balms and I really liked them. Just because it's winter doesn't mean you cant have kissable soft lips! If you're wearing lip stick, why not pop some on underneath to keep your lips feeling soft and to stop your lipstick from cracking.
What are your winter saviours?? If you would me to review any of these products in full please do leave me a comment, tweet me or even email me.
Lots of Love
