I love my subscription boxes and I always share my first impressions and what I received inside but I thought I would now do a regular monthly post reviewing the box as a whole rather than the products as i try them and separately. I have to admit sometimes I even forget to review them with you. I will however pick out one or 2 of my favourite products each month a do a full review of that product.
My first review is September's Beauty 12 Box The Elaine which was packed full of some fantastic products. If you missed my first impressions post you can read it here.
What is beauty 12?! Well, it's a monthly cruelty free and vegan beauty box. You can buy a subscription each month £15, 3 monthly £42, 6 monthly £80 or 12 monthly £155, of course you save money if you go for the 3, 6 and 12 monthly subscriptions.
Instead of a monthly theme each box will be named after someone (human or animal) close to the 2 ladies that have started up this fantastic subscription box. It's still a very new beauty box and has only been around for a couple of months but I've enjoyed my boxes so far.
Each month the boxes will be over the value of £30 which is great for the price and you will receive 5 products each month which will range from skincare, makeup and hair care. Fantastic value if you ask me.
Shall we have a recap at all the lovely products I received in The Elaine?
I received 5 great products inside The Elaine, 4 were full size and I received 1 sample size product. There's only 1 brand that I've heard of and tried a product before and the rest are completely new, which is a bonus.
Soap Dodger - Boozy Bath Salts in Wine Dine
Wow, these were absolutely lovely and I thoroughly enjoyed them as did the munchkin because let's face it, I never get to enjoy my bath products alone. I did a full review of this here.
The Buddha Beauty Company - Hand Butter
Oh I absolutely enjoyed using this hand butter. I received the Orange and Jasmine one and I can't get enough of how good this smells. It's quite thick so you don't need much but it's absolutely divine. I keep this by my bed and apply during the night and I also use it as a treatment with my cotton gloves. It really has made my hands feel amazingly soft, it doesn't leave any greasy residue and it absorbs into the skin really well. It's vegan friendly and packed with so much goodness like Shea butter, Vitamin E, Cocoa Butter and the scent is heavenly. It retails at £7.50 for 100ml which is amazing value as there's just so much product. you really don't need to use a lot. You can buy it here.
Mooi Lab - Lip Gloss in Ti Amo
LOVE this lip gloss, I was expecting quite a dark red shade, I mean it is dark but it's got such a lush shine to it and it's not sticky either! This is very me and I love these sorts of shades for Autumn and this is that perfect Autumn red shade. It's made up of all natural, preservative free formula, it's 90% organic. It's infused with anti-oxidant rich botanical extracts, essential oils and pigments. It also contains natural oils, coconut oil and Shea butter for lasting hydration, protective antioxidants and Superior shine without the stickiness. Mooi Lab is a US company that do ship worldwide which is always fantastic and you can purchase this lip gloss for $16 from here.
Terre Verdi - Orange Coffee Cleansing Mask
The 3rd full size product in The Elaine box and this had me intrigued! I absolutely LOVED this mask and you can see my full review here.
TASH Cosmetics - Eye Candy H.D. Loose Mineral Pigment Eyeshadow in Tahitian Nights
Lastly is a gorgeous brown shimmery loose pigment eye shadow in the shade Tahitian Nights. I'm all about neutral shades and love that this is a lush brown colour. I'm not great with pigments but this is really easy to work with, gores on really nice and blends like a dream. It's also the product of the month from The Elaine. I love that this can be used wet or dry, however I love using it dry during the day. It would look fantastic on a night out wet, as it would show the shimmer so much more. I really don't think my photo does this gorgeous shadow any justice.
Have you tried any of these products?? Are you subscribed to Beauty 12 box??
Lots of Love
